Update 2
Hey all! An update from France! Everthing is very very quiet here in La Côte Saint-André. As is to be expected in a small town, there is almost nothing open on Saturdays, and absolutely nothing on Sundays. :). Not even the baker. Yeah. I know. It is tough to fathom a French city where the baker is not open. Anywho, the real fun will begin this coming week when I truly begin my work in earnest, working at both the local high school, and at the local middle school in the neighboring town. Until next time, this Mark Morrow reporting from the small town life. :)

Update One: The Adventure Continues
Today marks my third day of actual work as an English teacher. It is very difficult to describe the environment in any other way than as something which is at once familiar and different. For example, the building itself.looks about the same as high schools everywhere.
